Ja’mil Autry, 13, was shot and killed on October 3, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. His mother Glenda Marie Agee, 53, is charged with murdering Ja’mil.
Ja’mil was in the bed sleeping. At 11 p.m. his mother entered his bedroom, and a gun went off. Ja’mil was shot in the chest.
Paramedics were called and Ja’mil was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, Ja’mil died at the hospital.
Glenda was arrested and charged with reckless murder. A judge denied bond for the defendant, and she is in jail.
Ja’mil did not have any burial insurance and his family is looking for financial assistance for Ja’mil’s funeral.
