Carrie Everett won the Miss North Carolina beauty pageant, she went bald from cancer, now she is dead. She went to black college where many students have ended up dead
Carrie Everett, 22, died on April 5, 2026 she was a sophomore music major at North Carolina Central University. That college is identified as a Historically Black College University. Carrie died from cancer. Carrie won the 2024 Miss North Carolina beauty competition while she was just a freshmen in college.

Carrie was a native of Seattle, Washington. Carrie delected to attend the black college because of the university’s music program – she enjoyed singing gospel music. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Carrie had beauty and was involved in beauty pageants, she went as far to win the 2024 Miss North Carolina beauty competition.
Miss America committed suicide in 2022, she was crazy and jumped from a tall building in New York.
In 2025 Carrie began having stomach pain and coughing, after multiple visits to the doctor she was told incorrectly by doctors that she had pneumonia. Carrie knew better and sought help from different doctors, scans were done and it was discovered that Carrie had masses in her abdomen, her stomach lining was thickening, also her lymph nodes were swollen. Carrie was diagnosed with cancer.
The cancer made her hair fall out, Carrie was seen bald. Sadly Carrie died from her cancer this week. Her death sent shock waves throughout the beauty community and also on her college campus.
Counseling services at North Carolina Central University are available by appointment at the school for students showing signs of grief.
