Sex and kissing on the job in a warehouse landed this man in jail. The kissing was lower than you think
Rashad King, 33, was arrested on September 6, 2024 after being accused of having sex with a female co-worker on the job at 9730 Northcross Center Ct Huntersville, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
It is alleged that 3 separate sexual occurrences occurred between Rashad and a female employee at the warehouse job. Rashad was a supervisor.
The alleged first encounter was on July 23, 2024. Rashad was training a new female employee, it was her second day on the job.
Rashad asked the woman to go to an unoccupied aisle at the rear of the warehouse. Rashad began to kiss her before grabbing her from behind and sliding down her legs.
Rashad pulled the woman’s garments down and proceeded to give her oral sexual stimulation on her private areas below the waste and on her chest.
The woman says she tried to get away but Rashad was allegedly restraining her. She was eventually successful in getting away.
The next alleged occurrence was a few days later when the female victim employee went into Rashad’s office regarding an inventory issue.
Rashad allegedly closed and locked the door. The female victim tried to get up and Rashad is accused of forcing her back down into a chair and began to kiss on her.
The victim advised that Rashad then put her over his desk and proceeded to pull her pants down and had sexual intercourse with her with no contraception.
The female victim told Rashad to get a condom, once he stepped away to obtain a condom, the woman was able to run away out of the office.
On August 9, 2024 the female victim went to use the restroom on the job, she was followed by Rashad.
Rashad is accused of restraining the female victim in the bathroom and began to kiss on her until she was able to get away.
The female victim reported the encounter to police. Cops watched surveillance footage, and was able to see Rashad shove the woman into the bathroom.
In reviewing footage, cops also observed Rashad smack the booty of the female employee.
Text messages between Rashad and the woman show Rashad sent a message to the victim saying:
I want to apologize. l felt like I pressured you. You know you taste good.
Cops also interviewed multiple co-workers during the investigation process and it was reported that Rashad made sexual comments on the bodies of multiple women around the office.
The women say they felt uncomfortable. Rashad admitted to kissing the female employee in the back of the warehouse and having consensual sex in his office. The suspect also admitted to the bathroom encounter with the female employee.
Rashad also admitted to sending the text messages. Rashad was then arrested and charged with forced sex offense, kidnapping, sexual battery, and false imprisonment.
