David Burns, 19, was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC on January 16, 2020.
Around midnight on Holland Avenue patrol officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call.
Upon arrival, officers located David inside of a vehicle with a gunshot wound. David was pronounced deceased on scene by medic.
Two additional male victims were located nearby with gunshot wounds and both were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, the relationship between the victims is unknown.
Several people have already been killed in 2020, including a man and woman in west Charlotte.
