He ran from cops in luxury car, then crashed out into a police car
On April 17, 2025, Adajeon Mehki Magazine-Izzard, 25, was arrested after getting into a high speed chase with police in Charlotte, NC. Adajeon was driving a Mercedes Benz vehicle. Follow our Instagram here.
Detectives initiated a traffic stop on a 2021 Mercedes Benz on I-77 near I-485. The traffic stop was for displaying a paper tag with no insurance. Watch video of a cop getting dragged by a Benz.
The luxury vehicle had very dark window tint. Detectives also believed that a shooting suspect was inside of the vehicle. The vehicle stopped but drove off when detectives got out and were approaching the vehicle.
The police helicopter was above and kept eyes on the Mercedes Benz. Mobile police units pursued the vehicle with blue lights and sirens activated, there is a no chase policy in Charlotte. Cops did not have sufficient evidence to chase the suspect vehicle, and a deadly or traumatic wreck could of occurred injuring innocent drivers.

The Mercedes Benz vehicle eventually traveled onto I-277 and then onto Independence Boulevard and multiple side streets.

Adajeon was arrested charged with fleeing police and drug trafficking. In the Mercedes Benz a total of 2,451.4 grams of marijuana in clear plastic baggies, 20 vape pens, 2,351 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, and 28.1 grams of suspected Fentanyl was found.
