MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO KILLING VICTIM, SUSPECT WAS ACCIDENTALLY RELEASED FROM JAIL

On January 24, 2025 Jaylan Davis, 27, pled guilty to killing Arthur Mikulski, 42, in Charlotte, NC.

Arthur was murdered on November 26, 2022 on Skipwith Place Charlotte, NC. Arthur was shot around 10 p.m. in the chest during a fight in a driveway. Paramedics were called and Arthur died at the scene.

Arthur was a father with adult children. Jaylan was charged with 1st degree murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Jaylan was arrested in November 2022 charged with the murder of Arthur. But a few months later the jail under the terrible leadership of Garry Mcfadden released Jaylan by mistake.

Jaylan was later taken back to jail. At his 2025 trial Jaylan pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and two counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property. 

He was sentenced to 92-123 months in prison.
