3 MEN CHARGED WITH MURDERING TEENAGE GIRL ON CHRISTMAS DAY

Kennedi Jones, 19, was murdered on Christmas day 2024 in Charlotte, NC. Dreshon Moreno, 21, James Mason, 24, and Zion Jennings, 18, were arrested charged with the woman’s murder. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Kennedi was murdered on Christmas Day 2024 on Shamrock Drive Charlotte, NC. She was found dead in a car.

James, Dreshon, and Zion are accused of taking Kennedi’s bag and Apple IPhone and then murdering her. At 11:20 p.m., officers responded to a call in reference to a motor vehicle crash with injuries.

Inside the vehicle, officers discovered Kennedi with life threatening injuries. Medics arrived and Kennedi was transported to Atrium Main Hospital.

The victim was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff as a result of her injuries. It is not yet known how Kennedi was killed.

Dreshon was arrested on December 31st charged with murder. James was arrested nearly 2 weeks later on January 7, 2025 charged with murder and robbery.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Zion Jennings was arrested in Winston Salem, North Carolina charged with Kennedi’s murder also. James Mason was arrested accused in the homicide of Calvin Washington too.
