MAN, NAVY VETERAN MURDERED AT PILOT GAS STATION, DIED AT HOSPITAL

32-year-old Raymond Goodman was murdered on October 4, 2022. Raymond was shot in a double shooting at the Pilot Travel Center gas station on Statesville Avenue Charlotte, NC near Interstate 85.

Raymond and another man were shot at the Pilot Travel Center gas station during an altercation around 11:30 p.m. on October 3, 2022. One of the victims was shot in the chest. The suspects ran. Paramedics then arrived and rushed both men to the hospital.

Sadly, at the hospital is where Raymond would take his last breath, as he died during emergency treatment. The other victim is still in the hospital, and it is unknown on whether he will survive.

Raymond died hours after the shooting on October 4th. No suspects have been identified. Raymond was in the United States Navy.
