On October 3, 2022 a double shooting was reported at the Pilot Travel Center gas station on Statesville Avenue Charlotte, NC near Interstate 85. One person died.
911 was called and paramedics delivered both victims to the hospital in critical condition. At the hospital one of the victims died from the shooting hours later on October 4th. The other man is still fighting for his life.
No arrests have made.
