24-year-old Michael Beasley was murdered in Charlotte, NC on February 29, 2024 at a Bojangles restaurant.
Michael was found dead in the back of the Bojangles parking lot on West Trade St.
Officers responded to the scene and found Michael with a gunshot wound. Medic pronounced Michael deceased on the scene. No arrest has been made.
Michael was from Largo, FL and had just came to Charlotte for a new life.
This homicide occurred on Leap Day, the next Leap Day won’t be until 2028. Leap years add an extra day to the year to align the calendar properly with Earth’s orbit. Hence, Leap Day occurs every 4 years.
