On February 8, 2025 Collins Sullivan, 27, died in a multi car collision on Interstate 85 in Charlotte, NC. Four people were injured. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
The collision was at 3:20 in the morning on I-85 near exit 40 which is close to Graham St. A man familiar to the dead victim identified as Jawuan Pressley was murdered in a triple shooting in 2020 in west Charlotte.
The victim’s friend was murdered in a triple homicide
The fatal wreck involved vehicles traveling at high speeds. Several vehicles were involved in the crash. Some vehicles were even knocked upside down.
Collins was killed on impact. 4 other people were injured and transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The major crash shut down Interstate 85 traffic for hours.
