A homicide transpired on May 22, 2024 on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC just days before Memorial Day weekend.
The victim was driving with a female on North Tryon at 1 a.m. when a suspect shot into the vehicle.
The male victim was shot and killed on scene. The vehicle then inadvertently drove into the rear of a Charlotte Area Transportation System (CATS) bus causing extensive damage.
The female passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The CATS bus was occupied only by the driver, who was not injured.
No arrests have been made.
