Shakier Henderson, 21, was shot and killed at the Heritage Park Apartment complex on Snow Lane Charlotte, NC. The call came in at 7:34 a.m. on Friday, January 04, 2019.
This is the third homicide Charlotte has had in the first four days of 2019.
Upon arrival, officers located Shakier on a dirt trail behind the apartments. Shakier was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.
This was originally a death investigation but was eventually upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
