A mother and her two kids are now dead from a January 2, 2019 Charlotte, NC house fire that occurred on Academy Street.
Ana Sanchez, 30, was pronounced dead Thursday evening, just hours after her 2-year-old daughter, Aranza was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The first to die on the day of the fire was Ana’s 9-year-old son Leonel.
The deaths resulted from burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire started from lit candles coming into contact with combustibles. The husband and father of the victims is heartbroken.
Several other kids were also in the house during the fire; they are in critical condition.
