Pliuh Rocom, 43, was killed on September 25, 2024 in a vehicle crash at the intersection of North Davidson Street and Parkwood Avenue Charlotte, NC.

At 6:50 a.m. Pliuh was crossing the street at the intersection when he was struck by a Honda.

The traffic signal was green for vehicular traffic to enter the intersection on North Davidson Street at the time of the collision.
The driver of the Honda remained on the scene and attempted to render medical aid to the pedestrian. The driver of the Honda was screened for impairment and found not to be impaired.
Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection. Upon arrival, officers located Pliuh unresponsive lying in the middle of the intersection.
The Honda had front end damage. Pliuh was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Hours later Pliuh died from his injuries.
No charges are expected in this fatal crash.
