Saquaine Lewis, 24, was arrested on August 10, 2021. He is charged with the murder of 26-year-old Dontae Kennedy in Charlotte, NC.
Dontae was killed on June 15, 2021 which was one day after his birthday. It was 2:30 a.m. on June 15th when Dontae was found unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds on Waterwood Lane. Dontae was pronounced deceased by medics on scene.
On June 22, 2021, Saquaine was arrested in Middletown, Rhode Island; he was then extradited to North Carolina in August 2021 and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
