German Pacheco, 20, is charged with the murder of Yara Velasquez-Escobar, 21. The victim was murdered in a triple shooting on Lake Mist Drive Charlotte, NC. German was arrested on January 31, 2024.
Yara was shot and killed on January 27, 2024. Yara was in a apartment parking lot with other people when an argument began and someone shot several times. 3 people were shot which included Yara.
The triple shooting sent Yara and the other victims to the hospital. Yara died at the hospital during emergency care. The other 2 victims survived.
German was arrested charged with Yara’s murder and 2 counts of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
