Jaylan was in luxury Lexus racing a Mustang when he crashed into a church van, an old lady was killed
Jaylan Chisolm, 25, is charged with killing 79-year-old Delaire Wilson during a fatal street racing crash in Charlotte, NC on November 26, 2025 on Statesville Avenue near Interstate 85.
Jaylan was driving a late model Lexus on I-85 allegedly racing with a Mustang car, suspect got off of the exit ramp onto Statesville Road when he ran a red light and T-boned collided with a church van.
Delaire was in the backseat of the church van and died on scene. The vehicles were forced into power poles from the impact. The poles were knocked down along with several power lines.
Jaylan was arrested charged with reckless driving, speed competition, and manslaughter.
