MALE VICTIM MURDERED IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, 3 DEAD IN UPTOWN THIS WEEK

A violent homicide occurred on February 17, 2023 on North Poplar Street Charlotte, NC in the uptown area. 

A male victim was shot and killed around 10:30 a.m. The victim was shot in a truck. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

There is no information as to what led to the shooting.

This is the 3rd homicide in uptown Charlotte this week, Elie Noel murdered Dionyah Thompson, 23, on Valentine’s Day 2023 and then shot and killed himself.

Dionyah had just won $150,000 in the lottery four months prior.

Elie was Dionyah’s ex-boyfriend.
