On February 17, 2023 Kymani Bishop, 20, was arrested charged with the murder of Sherilyn Drew, 21. The homicide occurred on Memorial Day 2021 in Charlotte, NC. Sherilyn was a senior at Georgia State University majoring in biology. She was home for summer break.
Sherilyn was shot and killed around 12:30 a.m. Sherilyn was pronounced deceased on scene. The suspects were believed to of pulled up to the wrong house in a case of mistaken identity.
Now, nearly 2 years later an arrest has been made. Kymani was arrested on February 17, 2023 in Charlotte.
