Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation that occurred on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC on March 22, 2024. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Shortly after 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a victim that had been ran over. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim that had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim had injuries that were not consistent with the crash.
Based on witness statements and additional evidence at the scene, preliminary information indicates that the victim was mortally wounded prior to collapsing in the street and then being run over a short time later.
This is deemed as a murder. No arrests have been made. Just last night Robert Long, 53, was murdered on Scottview Drive.
