Candida Mercado allegedly had a 0.10 alcohol content during a DWI arrest

Candida was driving a late model Acura when a cop observed her in both the straight lane and the left turn lane, according to prosecutors.
The suspect was pulled over and the officer was able to detect the distinct odor of alcohol. Candida was asked if she had had any alcohol, and she stated that she had homemade margaritas.
Candida was directed to perform standard field sobriety tests. The suspect had a lack of
smooth pursuit and distinct/sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation.
On the walk and turn tests she had the incorrect number of steps, incorrect turn, Candida also stepped off the line, missed the heel to toe, and used her arms for balance, according to officials.
Candida is also accused of swaying on the one leg stand. Candida blew a alcohol breath test of 0.10. She was arrested charged with DWI. Candida’s car was towed away by police during her arrest.
