The suspects stole cash straight from a money bag filled with $90,000
Nakeena Watson, 36, and Sianka Fletcher, 31, work for Garda World Armored Truck, they were arrested on June 12, 2025 after they stole $10,000 cash from a money bag in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Garda World management called police on June 12, 2025 in reference to a larceny
by employee.
Management of Garda World stated Nakeena and Sianka had stolen $10,000 from Garda World. A cash delivery bag was over packed by $90,000. When Nakeena realized this, she counted the money to be returned to the manager of Barri Financial who was the client of Garda Worid with the over packed cash bag.
But once Nakeena got into the truck, she created a new return slip with only $80,000 and kept $10,000 cash. Nakeena fraudulently forged the signature of the manager on the return slip.
Nakeena told Sianka about the $10,000 and they split the money. Both returned to Garda Worid and left with the money in their possession.
The suspects were confronted by management and both admitted to the theft of $10,000 from the company.
Nakeena and Sianka also provided written statements to Garda World admitting to their involvement.
The ladies were promptly fired. The suspects were both arrested charged with larceny by employee.
