Lee was driving a F-150 Ford truck on Hood Road, as he was crossing The Plaza Road intersection a Ford F-250 truck crashed into him. The F-250 truck ran a red light.
The Ford F-250 truck was being driven by Edwin. Both trucks had heavy front end damage.
Lee was pronounced deceased on scene. Edwin suffered minor injuries and remained on scene.
Cops say Edwin showed signs of impairment. Edwin was arrested and charged with felony death by vehicle. Lee worked at Home Depot, he was also a master barber. Lee was a father and leaves behind children and family.
Lee worked as a school bus driver years ago in Charlotte. Lee went to Garinger High School graduating in the 80’s.
