21-year-old Zaria Howze was arrested on April 22, 2025 accused of DWI. She drove into a house on Cayman Way Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Zaria was allegedly driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol late at night. Zaria crashed into a home, several kids were in the home during the crash. The wreck knocked out walls and damaged the home extensively, leaving a gaping hole.
Thankfully none of the kids or adults in the home were killed. The crash startled the family in the residence and alerted nosy neighbors. The vehicle crashed into the side of the house.
Open containers of alcohol were in Zaria’s vehicle. Zaria was given field sobriety tests, she had slurred speech and could not follow the drunk test instructions. She was repeatedly asking officers what were the next steps.
Zaria had a revoked driver’s license and had warrants of arrest for failure to appear in court. Zaria also has a felony conviction of obtaining property by false pretense.
Zaria’s vehicle was towed out of the house and away from the scene. She was arrested on site charged with DWI.
