It has been a very bloody St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Charlotte. A double homicide occurred on March 19, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. The shooting was in the parking lot of a shopping center on The Plaza near Eastway Drive.
The shooting was around 9:30 p.m. An altercation between several people erupted and several shots were fired. 2 people were shot.
The suspects fled. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the 2 victims dead on site. This is the 3rd homicide in Charlotte in one day. A man was stabbed to death in south Charlotte.
