Demarco Cathcart, 27, was killed on July 22, 2023 in a car accident in Lincoln County, NC. Demarco was a college student at North Carolina A&T University set to graduate within a year. He is from Charlotte.
Demarco was driving a Infinity G37 vehicle on Unity Church Road when he lost control and swerved off the road, hitting a tree. The collision caused the vehicle to catch fire immediately.

Demarco died on the scene. Investigators closed down Unity Church Road for two hours.
Demarco was a senior at North Carolina A&T University majoring in Business Management, he had a cumulative grade point average of 3.37.
