Church members were taken away on church property in front of wife and kids during a Border Patrol raid at Casa de Dios church. The church was so shook that they canceled Sunday service. Latino Christians voted for Trump in record numbers, now they are shocked
Iglesia Pentecostal Casa de Dios church in Charlotte, N.C. was raided by ICE and Border Patrol agents on November 15, 2025. The church is located on 5300 Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Several church members and guests were holding a community service event at the church in the afternoon. Border Patrol and ICE agents came to the church in unmarked SUVs running after church congregants.

Multiple latino church members ran in the woods to hide, Border Patrol agents arrested a man named Carlos on scene in front of his wife and kids. There are many articles of churches we have covered in the past.
Other church members were arrested too. Some church members were able to escape in the woods. Children and women were in the church also. The women and children were crying when they saw their husbands and fathers arrested.
The pastor of the church canceled Sunday service in fear of more immigration raids at the church. The Border Patrol and ICE agents asked no questions and showed no identification during the raid. See more from our Immigration sector.
In fact Christian latinos have a huge preponderance to vote republican, and many voted for Trump in the 2024 election, and now they are seeing the effects of their stupid voting. They very well knew that Trump had aggressive deportation plans and policies for latino people.
