Watch a robber spray a Wawa employee with pepper spray and take cash during robbery
A Wawa gas station was robbed on November 9, 2025 in Toms River, N.J. and it was caught on video.
At 12:18 a.m. a male suspect entered the popular gas station and pretended to buy Black & Mild cigarettes. When the cashier opened the register, the suspect sprayed her in the face with pepper spray.
The female employee then ran away. The suspect ran over the counter and took cash from the register. The suspect fled the scene. The woman was temporarily blinded by the attack and she sought hospitalization due to burning irritation on her eyes.
No arrests have been made.
