On June 27, 2024, two men were arrested during a high speed chase involving an Amazon delivery truck and a stolen Ford F-250 truck in Charlotte, NC. Michael Watts, 26, and Devin Mitchell, 28, were arrested. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

At 11:13 a.m. on June 27th a Ford F-250 truck was stolen. The suspects were in the stolen truck. Devin was allegedly driving.
Cops tried a traffic stop on the truck at Sam Wilson Road and West Pointe Drive.
The driver failed to stop and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. A police helicopter tracked the stolen vehicle.

After a few minutes both the driver and passenger of the truck jumped and ran from the vehicle on Pressley Road.
Michael was found hiding in a dirty stinking dumpster. He was arrested and charged with vehicle theft.
While attempting to flee, Devin is accused of stealing an unoccupied Amazon delivery truck while the truck was left running as the Amazon employee was making deliveries. Video shows a Amazon worker in Florida being robbed on the job.
Devin allegedly began driving the Amazon truck to escape cops. The chase went through Charlotte and on highways.
The police helicopter followed the stolen delivery truck into Lincoln County where the driver jumped and ran from the vehicle. Click here to see other Amazon news.
Officers quickly located the suspect and arrested him, he was identified as Devin.
