Nick Lewis died on January 19, 2026 in Charlotte, NC on the Martin Luther King federal holiday. Nick was an actor and comedian in Charlotte. Nick even was in the Amazon Prime movie “Broken Church”. Nick had twin daughters that were 26 years old. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Nick died at the hospital from a medical complication likely due from a head on crash he sustained from July 21st, 2024. Nick Lewis was in a head on collision with a 18-wheeler truck at speeds of 60 mph.
Nick’s car flipped multiple times and he was then hit by a second 18 wheeler truck. Surprisingly Nick survived the crash.
In December 2023 Nick collapsed at his home while exercising from a blood vessel issue. Nick’s brother Bennie Lewis died in October 2025.
Nick appeared on BET and Def Comedy Jam. Nick was a member of the Omega fraternity. The Omega fraternity is known for its brute force beatings on members during the pledging initiation process.
The beatings are part of the Omega fraternity rituals, which all undergraduate members must go through to join.
Nick’s twin girls were victims of a drive-by shooting at their home when they were just 11 years old. They were not shot, but multiple bullets hit their home and scared them.
