A rapper’s party ended in a quadruple murder

Rapper Mello Buckzz was having a party celebrating the release of an album at the restaurant. Several people were gathered outside the restaurant when a SUV approached and performed a drive-by shooting.
14 people were shot by the gunfire. Sadly 4 people were killed. The vehicle sped away. The victims injured in the shooting range in age from 21 to 32 years old.
A 24-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died. A 25-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died. A 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman were both shot in the chest and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where they died.
Management at Artis Restaurant and Lounge said they are working with police. Mello Buckzz burst onto the scene in recent years with songs like “Boom (Mouskatool)” and “Boom Pt. 2”.
