The teen victim was missing for days, he was found dead in woods. Now 2 teens have admitted to killing him
Two teens identified as Isaac Grier and Samir Metoyer pleaded guilty to the second degree murder of 15-year-old Anthony Smith in Charlotte, NC. The teens pled guilty on April 30, 2026.
Anthony was missing for multiple days in September 2024. An exhaustive search for Anthony began. On September 10, 2024, Anthony’s dead body was found on Silverleaf Road in the woods. The suspects had shot Anthony dead and hid his body in the woods.
Isaac and Samir were later arrested charged with murder. In April 2026 Isaac and Samir pleaded guilty to second degree murder. Both were sentenced to 16 to 20 years in prison.
