CHEESECAKE FACTORY WAITRESS OVERDOSES ON FENTANYL WHILE USING COCAINE

Michelle Edoo, 29, died from a fentanyl drug overdose on March 18, 2023 in Hackensack, New Jersey. Michelle was a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory restaurant at The Shops at Riverside Mall.

On March 15, 2023 after Michelle was off from work, she was in a vehicle at the parking lot of The Shops at Riverside Mall doing cocaine with fellow workers at the mall.

The group was willfully doing cocaine, but they did not know the cocaine was dosed with deadly fentanyl. All of a sudden the group of 5 overdosed and began to struggle breathing.

Ja’Nyah Smallwood died from fentanyl, she had vaginal and anal blunt trauma injuries

Some of the girls became unconscious. People nearby gave CPR to the drug users, and called 911. Paramedics arrived and gave Narcan to the victims.

All of the victims were then taken to the hospital. Sadly Michelle died at the hospital 3 days later on March 18, 2023. The other people that were in the car doing drugs survived.

The Cheesecake Factory issued this statement after Michelle’s death:

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the staff member who passed away. We have made grief counseling available at the restaurant.”

Michelle leaves behind a 9-yer-old daughter.
