A seizure of six and a half pounds of cocaine were seized on February 13, 2023 at a house in Kershaw, SC. Quanisha Lashay Manago, 28, is accused of having the drugs sent to her home.

Federal agents and local South Carolina cops received information from the post office that a parcel containing cocaine was being shipped from Mexico to the Kershaw address.
The agents worked with the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and Homeland Security Investigations.
The parcel was intercepted and tested by cops. It contained two large bricks of compressed powder cocaine equivalent to 6.5 kilograms.
The federal agents then re-wrapped the package and sent a controlled delivery of the parcel to Quanisha’s residence.
On February 13th the delivery was made in the afternoon. Agents of the various agencies surveilled the delivery, and members of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team were on standby in the area.

Quanisha and another adult female were present when the parcel was delivered. Quanisha allegedly took possession of the parcel from the undercover delivery agent in the yard of the house, put it into the back seat of a 2012 Ford Focus in the yard, and started to get behind the wheel of the car, police say.
The other adult female was in the front passenger seat of the car. Agents moved in, and both females were detained without incident.
A subsequent search of the house produced a small amount of suspected marijuana, police say. Quanisha was arrested and warrants charging her with trafficking cocaine over 400 Grams and possession with intent to distribute marijuana were served on her.
Quanisha appeared before a magistrate on February 14th and her bond was denied. The other adult female was not charged with any crime and was released.
The weight of the cocaine was 3,014 grams, making the street value of the parcel over $180,000.
