An armed robbery occured at the Cook Out restaurant on 5715 North Sharon Amity Road Charlotte, NC. The robbery was on July 9, 2021 at 5:30 a.m.
A homeless man is seen knocking on the back door in the dark of night, perhaps for food. A Cook Out employee is then seen opening the door, that is when 2 suspects who were laying down as a decoy, pop up and bombard their way into the Cook Out restaurant with guns.
Several Cook Out employees are seen running out of the door in fear.
One of the suspects slips and slides his way to the cash safe on the wet floor. The safe was open, and the suspects escape with thousands of dollars in cash. No arrests have been made.
