33-year-old James Davis was shot and killed at the NC Tavern located at 8225 University City Boulevard Charlotte, NC. James was murdered on October 30, 2021 around 12:15 a.m.
An altercation erupted inside the NC Tavern. Several shots were fired and James was shot. The loud shots sent patrons running for their lives scared. Some people were hurt and trampled.
Medic arrived on scene quickly and pronounced James deceased on the scene. At this time surveillance footage is being reviewed, but it is hard to tell who fired the fatal shots that killed James.
The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects are in custody.
