On October 30, 2021 a man was shot and killed during a dispute inside the NC Tavern restaurant at 8225 University City Boulevard Charlotte, NC.
Around midnight officers responded to reports of a shooting inside of NC Tavern. An adult male was shot and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
Representatives of the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Homicide Prosecution Team, CMPD’s Operations Command, ABC Unit, Victim Services and NC ALE also assisted.
Several people have been murdered in Charlotte in close proximity to the Halloween holiday.
