Ronald Walker, 41, is charged with the murder of James Davis, 33. The victim was shot and killed at the NC Tavern located at 8225 University City Boulevard Charlotte, NC. James was murdered on October 30, 2021 around 12:15 a.m.
The shooting occurred inside the NC Tavern restaurant. An altercation transpired and several shots were fired, sending people running for cover and out of NC Tavern.
Unfortunately, gunshots hit James and he was pronounced dead on the scene once paramedics arrived. NC Tavern has a very popular following. Alcohol is sold at NC Tavern, so the NC ABC commission responded to the scene to investigate any violations.
After an investigation, warrants were issued for Ronald’s arrest. Around 11:30 a.m. on October 30, 2021 Ronald was located and arrested. Ronald is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
