A pregnant woman was shot and killed, she had a 9-year-old daughter
A pregnant young mother identified as Derricka Patrick, 29, was murdered in a wild shooting on January 12, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.
Derricka was 4 months pregnant with her second child. She was sitting in her car on the night of the murder around 7 p.m. 2 men drove up next to her and fired several shots at Derricka.
The men then ran back inside a car and fled. Derricka was hit multiple times. Derricka was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Derricka was a hair stylist, known for doing fancy hair styles. Derricka had a 9-year-old daughter.
