On July 8, 2022 a police officer was hit by a suspect vehicle in Charlotte, NC near Nations Ford Road in the afternoon.
The officer pulled the suspect over during a traffic stop. The suspect first stopped, but then changed his mind and sped off. The cop was hit and ran over during the encounter. The officer fell to the ground and received bloody scrapes to the body.
The suspect was able to drive all the way to South Carolina at speeds of 100 mph during a pursuit. The suspect was arrested in Rock Hill, SC.
Just yesterday another cop was hit by a car, ran over, and dragged on Lasalle Street.
