A drive-by shooting occurred at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The shooting was on December 8, 2022 around 11:30 p.m.
4 men were shot in the shooting, all of them between 20-30 years old.
Surveillance video shows a dark colored SUV stopped outside of the Westin Hotel filled with several black males in the valet parking area.
Another SUV then speeds by and fires multiple shots at the victims, the suspect SUV then speeds off. The 2 groups of people were having a conflict of some sort. One of the victims got out of the SUV to fire back at the suspects.
None of the suspects were shot, and the suspects have not been arrested. The victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
