TEENAGER ARRESTED AFTER MAN KILLED AT SHOPPING CENTER DURING HOMICIDE

Dwayne Carter, 19, was arrested on July 31, 2023 accused of murdering Jeremiah Thomas, 25, on University Pointe Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Jeremiah was shot in the head in 2022.

At 3 p.m. Jeremiah was in a shopping center parking lot. A dispute led to Jeremiah being shot several times.

Jerimiah had a caucasian male friend in the parking lot that saw everything. 911 was called and resuscitation efforts were attempted, but Jerimah died on the scene.

A few days before Jeremiah was murdered he was in a vehicle wreck involving his new mustang, the accident broke his leg.

In 2022 Jeremiah was shot in the head by suspects, he was taken to the hospital, and he recovered.

Dwayne was arrested and charged with murder pertaining to the victim being killed at the shopping center.
