Adrian Avery, 25, was killed on August 27, 2023 on North Tryon St. Charlotte, NC in a motorcycle crash.
At approximately 5:54 p.m., Adrian was driving a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle on North Tryon St. A Kia Sorento turned left in the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the Kia and Adrian was thrown from the bike.
Officers responded to the motor vehicle crash and found the motorcycle in the road. The Charlotte Fire Department and paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced Adrian deceased due to injuries sustained in the collision.
Satchel Bass was also killed on North Tryon Street in a motorcycle crash
The driver of the Kia, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Kia was screened for impairment and found not to be impaired.
It is unknown if Adrian was impaired as his toxicology reports are pending.
