This is a classic case of how to get away with murder, one suspect got his case dismissed, the other suspects are on the hook for murder, all over Wing Stop chicken wings
In October 2026 Justin Jones, 21, pled guilty to murdering Joelle Clesca, 19, at a Wing Stop restaurant on Beatties Ford Rd. Charlotte, NC. The first two suspects arrested were Santario Turner, 20, and Dandre Chisholm, 20. However the murder charges on Santario were dropped by prosecutors. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Joelle Clesca and Justin Jones

Joelle was murdered on October 12, 2025 at the Wing Stop. Santario and Dandre were delivering food for Door Dash in a Chrysler 300, along with Justin that was dressed in all black.

Santario went into Sunset Seafood and Soul Food restaurant right next to Wing Stop to get a Door Dash order. Door Dash workers have a knack for committing crimes and having terrible customer service.
Joelle pulls up and enters the Wing Stop restaurant to order some lemon pepper chicken wings. The suspects in the Chrysler 300 saw Joelle and immediately texted Santario to come back to the car.
Santario leaves without the food and enters the Chrysler 300. Justin exits the Chrysler 300 and runs into the Wing Stop and shoots Joelle in the chest. Joelle was shot dead right in the Wing Stop. Blood got on customers’ food, the tables, and the money in the cash register.
All the suspects were later arrested charged with murder. Santario did not pull the trigger. There is no proof that Santario knew about the murder or planned it. The murder charges were dismissed on Santario.
Dandre is still awaiting trial. Justin pled guilty to murder in October 2026 and was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
