A police officer was shot and killed on Labor Day weekend 2026 on West Trade Street in Charlotte, NC. Manuel Martinez, 33, is the cop that was killed, he was murdered on September 6, 2026. Manuel was in Charlotte for the Charlotte FC soccer game. After the game Manuel went out for drinks and a good time with friends. While out at a club, a dispute over a pretty woman led to patrons of a business becoming enraged at Manuel, as the woman was making advances at Manuel. An argument started and a shooting resulted on West Trade Street, Manuel was shot multiple times and he died on site. The suspect fled. Tyrell was arrested the next day in South Carolina charged with murder.
Manuel’s father just turned 83-years-old in July 2026. Manuel had bizarre tattoos over his body.
