Video: Amazon is being sued after an Amazon driver punched a elderly man in face at store for no reason
Video shows an Amazon driver punching a old man in the face at a gas station in Elk Grove, California. The video was released in August 2026. The victim is now suing Amazon for $10 million. 30-year-old Terrence Wheeler was identified as the Amazon driver. The victim is 71-year-old Edwin Charlie Hester. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The altercation took place in March 2026. The victim parked his vehicle to enter the gas station. The Amazon driver wanted the same parking spot and felt the elderly man took his parking spot.
The Amazon driver then enters the gas station and hunts down the elderly man. The Amazon driver curses and berates the elderly white man, even calling him nigger.
The Amazon driver is seen punching the old man in the face. The elderly man falls to the ground in pain. Gas station employees are shocked at the encounter.
The Amazon driver left the store, but was later fired by Amazon once attorneys for the victim reached out to the company. The victim has since filed a $10 million lawsuit against Amazon.

The victim is currently being treated for neck pain as well as a concussion. The Amazon driver was arrested and charged with felony battery and elder abuse, among other charges.
The civil case against Amazon is on file in the Superior Court of California, Sacramento County.
