A hair stylist was murdered after she canceled appointments on client and failed to refund a $15 deposit
Kanedrea Davis, 29, is accused of killing 23-year-old hair stylist Chyna Hickman in Mobile, Alabama over a $15 lash extension appointment deposit. The murder was in July 2026.
Kanedrea was a customer of Chyna’s. Kanedrea made an appointment to get lash extensions with Chyna, and the suspect was required to pay a $15 deposit. However, for whatever reason Chyna kept cancelling the appointments with Kanedra.
Kanedrea then requested a refund of the $15, but Chyna would not give the refund. Kanedrea went to Chyna’s house and threw a brick at her car window.
Chyna came outside with a broom, and a fight started between the women. Kanedrea took out a gun and is accused of shooting Chyna dead. Chyna was pregnant, the baby died too.
Kanedrea was arrested charged with murder.
