HAIR STYLIST ARRESTED, ACCUSED OF SERIOUSLY INJURING MAN IN WRECK

Ashia Smith, 34, was arrested on June 9, 2023 accused of a serious injury crash on WT Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Aisha has a sizeable hair styling service in Charlotte.

On June 5, 2023 at approximately 1:00 a.m. Ashia was allegedly operating a motor vehicle at the intersection of Grier Rd and WT Harris Blvd. Ashia’s vehicle collided with another vehicle. The collision caused the other driver a 30-year-old man to sustain serious injuries in the crash.

Ashia was injured also. Both Ashia and the man were rushed to the hospital for emergency care. Ashia was released from the hospital a few days after the crash.

Ashia was arrested and charged with felony serious injury by vehicle.

A popular hair stylist known as the Braid Barbie was arrested after being involved in a wreck that killed a man.
