JaQuavion Jackson and Macaleb Jackson are among the dead victims in a mass shooting where 35 people were shot during a homecoming party
On October 4, 2026 a mass shooting occurred at a homecoming party, 35 people were shot and two people were killed. Ja’Quavion Jackson, age 21, and Macaleb Jackson, age 23, were shot and killed in Vienna, GA.

Preliminary information indicates that at about 1:25 a.m., on October 4th deputies were on patrol at a neighborhood block party when shots were fired.
Deputies immediately responded to the area and discovered 35 people had been shot. Deputies also found Jaquavion and Macaleb shot dead in the street.
The 35 shot victims were taken to several regional hospitals for treatment. Jaquavion and Macaleb will be taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office where autopsies will be conducted.
